Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul might not be the tallest guy in the NBA, but he's one of the league's biggest stars. And a new special airing this week on Disney XD gives us an inside look at how he got there.
Becoming: Chris Paul premieres Friday morning and is the third episode in the Becoming series. (The other two focused on LeBron James and Alex Morgan.) The documentary takes us back to when the 6-foot guard was a kid with big dreams for a pro basketball career. But before he would win Rookie of the Year honors and two Olympic gold medals, Paul was an undersized young man who spent his first two years of high school on the junior varsity team.
In this exclusive clip, Paul and his high school coaches talk about what made him special — and why he was stuck on the JV squad for so long.
