Kid Reporter Catches Up with Madison Bumgarner

San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner had a playoffs for the ages this season. He entered the postseason 18-10 with a 2.98 ERA and 219 strikeouts — by far his best season in the majors. But after shutting down the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Wild Card Game, Bumgarner was lights out. We was 4-1 over the course of the playoffs, was the MVP of the National League Championship Series, and posted an absurd World Series stat line: 2-0, 0.43 ERA, 17 Ks, 1 walk. Of course, he was the MVP of the Series, too.

Earlier this season, Kid Reporter Max Ferregur caught up with Bumgarner at All-Star Media Day in Minnesota. In light of Bumgarner’s star-making turn this postseason, we thought we’d share the complete interview. Enjoy!
