Tuesday Afterschool Special: Farmer Yo

Cespedes's barn
In previous installments of this feature, I told you about the exotic cars Mets centerfielder Yoenis Cespedes drove to spring training, including his Alfa Romeo, tricked-out Jeep, and Polaris Slingshot. Well today he showed up to camp on something a little more old school:

This arrival comes just days after Cespedes attended a local county fair and bought a prize pig. Who knows what animal he'll have in tow tomorrow.

Vinny Mutone of Connetquot High School has Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello to thank for his prom date. Catherine De Pinho said yes on the condition that Vinny get a stick from his favorite player. That'll be one to show their grandkids.
It gets even better for Vinny and Catherine thanks to #NYR @zuccarello36 signing the poster and stick!! pic.twitter.com/o57Qxgut9K

Tennis ball dogs
Shelter dogs served as the interim ball boys/girls at a Brazil Open exhibition match this week. The four dogs, Frida, Mel, Isabelle and Costela, got the jobs as an attempt to raise awareness for shelter animals. As you can see in the video, the only problem was getting the balls back.
