Get Pumped for the College Football Playoff with Hard-Hitting Lego Action

If you're a college football fan, then you're already plenty excited for today's College Football Playoff games, the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl. But in case you're not sure if you want to watch — or if this is the first you're hearing about the games — then ESPN and Lego have a special message for you.

In a stop-motion animation commercial promoting the games, the four playoff teams — Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State, and Oklahoma — are represented by a players created out of Lego bricks. It gets a little weird when they start beating up big robot-like opponents, but otherwise it's a pretty cool way to get amped for two of the biggest college football games of the season.

Top-ranked Clemson meets number-four Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl at 4 p.m. ET, and then two seed Alabama takes on third seed Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl at 8 p.m. ET. Both games air on ESPN. The winners will meet in the national championship game on January 11.
