New York wins the Little League World Series

The New York team beat South Korea, 2–1, to win the championship game of the Little League World Series. Their victory marks the first for a U.S. team in the LLWS in five years, when a team from Huntington Beach, California won. Making the win even more impressive was that South Korea's Junho Jeong had a no-hitter going for the first half of the game.

Ultimately, Jude Abbadessa would break up the no-no, while winning pitcher Ryan Harlost scored the game-winning run. Nice work, fellas!
