A Blind Archer Just Set A World Record At The Olympics

ImDong-hyun of South Korea is legally blind. He is also an incredible archer. During the ranking round at the 2012 London Olympics, the 72 arrows that Im shot at his target earned him a score of 699, breaking his own world record and falling just 21 points shy of a perfect score. Despite having only 10 percent vision in his left eye and 20 percent in his right, Im has won the gold medal in archery at the past two Olympics, in Beijing, China, and Athens, Greece. He will compete in the Olympic elimination rounds starting on July 30. The medal matches will take place on August 3.
