It's May 4, which means it's Star Wars Day! Why? "May the 4th Be With You." Get it?
Anyway — there are a lot of ways to celebrate the galaxy far, far away. You can play with your action figures, read the Expanded Universe books, watch The Force Awakens for the 5,000th time, even throw on a mask and pick up a plastic lightsaber and pretend to by Kylo Ren. Here at SI Kids, we's like to add one more option: reliving all the times the heroes and villains of Star Wars entered our sports world. From celebrations at ballparks to Wookie first pitches, Star Wars and sports have interacted a lot. So we've pulled some of the best photos from the last couple years of the times Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Boba Fett and other characters mixed it up with athletes, coaches, and fans.
