Carmelo Teams Up with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

​Carmelo Anthony is one of the biggest names in the NBA. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are some of the most popular heroes in the universe. So, naturally, they should team up. And thanks to Macy’s, they will.

In May, the department store will roll out the TMNT x Melo collection, a limited edition line of gear inspired by Anthony’s on-the-court success and the Turtles’ out-of-the-sewer heroics. Items will include t-shirts, shorts, and basketballs and hoops, with prices ranging from $20-35.

”I grew up on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so to be able to partner on a boys’ collection with Nickelodeon and Macy’s goes beyond my wildest dreams,” Melo said. “It’s been so fun collaborating on the designs for these tees, hoodies, shorts and more. I can’t wait for my young fans to check out TMNT x Melo and feel the excitement I had at their age for the Heroes in a Half Shell.”

The only image from the collection available is this tank-top with the TMNT logo on it. And, yeah, it looks very much like a basketball jersey inspired by the Turtles!
