Djokovic's big win
Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer in the Australian Open semis this morning, winning 6–1, 6–2, 3–6, 6–3. The Serbian superstar dominated the first two sets and his rival was never able to fully recover, despite a winning the third. Djokovic now leads their alltime series, 23–22. And while the match was not especially competitive by the standard of past Djokovic-Federer matchups, it did feature this amazing rally:

NHL All-Star replacements
Today in Nashville, NHL All-Star Game festivities are underway. Unfortunately, some NHL superstars won't get to check out the cheese fountain, as they've elected to sit out to rehab injuries. Skipping at the last minute are Alexander Ovechkin, who will be replaced on the Metropolitan Division team by his teammate Evgeny Kuznetsov, and Jonathan Toews, who will be replaced by local favorite Predator James Neal.
Kuznetsov is fifth in the league with 49 points this season. Neal leads the Preds with 18 goals. Ovechkin and Toews have been suspended one game each per NHL rules.
