Watch Felix Baumgartner's Red Bull Stratos Skydive From the Edge Of Space Live! [UPDATE]

[UPDATE 1:50 pm ET] The mission has been scrubbed today because of high winds in New Mexico

Starting live at 1pm ET, Felix Baumgartner will attempt what no man has ever done before, to skydive from the edge of space. He'll float up to an altitude of 120,000 feet in a pressurized capsule that's being towed by a helium balloon. In his 23-mile free-fall, while wearing a pressurized spacesuit and helmet, he'll become the first man to break the sound barrier without the help of vehicle. The Austrian Baumgartner became known for his skydiving while he was in his home country's military. Since then, he's become one of the world's greatest BASE jumpers. Now, today, he'll try attempt a feat that's an awesome combination of science, engineering and gonzo daredevil guts.
