Watch Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon Destroy Stuff

Here's something awesome for your Friday: Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon just obliterating some Gatorade bottles during a friendly game of who has the more accurate shot.

The backstory: This past offseason, Reebok and CCM got Penguins superstar Crosby and Avalanche rookie (and the top overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft) MacKinnon together for a photo shoot and to test out some new gear — the Reebok RibCor stick for Crosby, the CCMRBZ Stage II stick and RBZ skates for MacKinnon. During the photo shoot, Crosby and MacKinnon had some downtime and decided to see who had the more accurate shot. So Sid set up four Gatorade bottles on top of the net and the two took turns firing pucks at defenseless objects. And some of them don't make it out alive.

You might be wondering why Reebok paired up these two players. Crosby makes sense, but MacKinnon is just a rookie who, at the time, hadn't played a shift yet.

Besides being crazy talented, they are from the same hometown: Cole Harbour in Nova Scotia, Canada. Growing up, Crosby was compared to Wayne Gretzky, but MacKinnon was compared to Crosby. Now that both are in the NHL, the comparisons are sure to continue — especially since MacKinnon, like Crosby, has the huge task of reviving his franchise.

So who better to put the latest hockey equipment through its paces? And who better to use that equipment to just lay waste to water bottles and protective glass?
