NHL Clubs Create the Video Equivalent of the Holiday Ugly Sweater

It's become something of a tradition in the NHL for teams to put together weird and wonderful videos for the holidays. The clips give players and coaches (and, increasingly, team broadcasters) the chance to have some fun and give fans a whole new look at their favorite team.
This year, the Sharks and Penguins have come up with a couple of so-bad-they're-great videos that might as well be moving-image versions of ugly sweaters.
First up, the Sharks: They created a five-minute-long holiday rap video about holiday sweaters that's probably three minutes too long. But it's worth watching a least a little bit of it for just how game these guys are for something that makes them look so, so awkward:
And then there's the Penguins video, which is a two-minute trailer for a remake of sorts of the classic movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. But the team doesn't just reenact their favorite scenes. Players, coaches, and even Hall-of-Fame play-by-play caller Mike Lange are inserted right into scenes from the actual movie! It's so strange and so epic — just like the original movie:
If we stumble across any others, we'll update this post. Until then, Happy Holidays!
