Soccer Player Katie Johnson Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

Katie Johnson, a rookie for the Seattle Reign of the NWSL, will appear in new Elena of Avalor-themed Hispanic Heritage Month spots debuting on the Disney Channel this Friday, September 15. Johnson played for Mexico's women's national team during 2016 World Cup qualifying and led the USC Trojans to the 2016 NCAA championship. She was named the Most Valuable Offensive Player of the College Cup after scoring three of USC's four goals against Georgetown in the semis and West Virginia in the final.
