Will Nyjah Huston Win SLS Gold?

At 16 years of age, pro skater Nyjah Huston has already won second-place in the X-games and won every street league competition up to date. Nyjah was the youngest ever skateboarder to compete in the X-Games and he is an entrepreneur, owning his own skateboard company called I&I Skateboards.

Nyjah is the youngest competitor in the Street league skateboarding competition. Don’t let his age fool you though, he is one of the most aggressive skater you will ever meets. With his long dreads that go with the flow of his skating, it seems as if there is a joystick controlling every trick he does.

It was just last year that professional Skateboarder Rob Dyrdek created the Street league skateboarding competition. It’s where to go if you want to see the best skateboarders in the world competing board to board, in a sequence of individual competitions.

From the first stop of the Street league skateboarding competition in Seattle, Washington, Nyjah scored 104.6 in best trick competition, which was the highest score ever achieved in all of the street league’s history. The second stop of the tour was Kansas City, Missouri where he had a close call with fellow skateboarder Chris Cole. But Nyjah did it again and won the second stop on the tour. The latest competition was in Glendale, Arizona, where Nyjah dominated his competitors. The final and last stop of the competition will be Newark, New Jersey, at the Prudential Center on August 28.

Who will be the final winner? Will Nyjah keep the momentum and win the gold or will there be an underdog who will take the prize? We will soon find out.
