NFL Week 7 Predictions

Image placeholder title

From the Titans falling harshly to the comeback of the Oakland Raiders, we learned a lot in Week 6. But now it’s time to move on to my Week 7 picks, with plenty of exciting matchups coming up…

Green Bay Packers at Cleveland Browns
The Pack easily rolls over the Browns, who have a difficult time stopping quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Final score: Packers 20, Browns 10

San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans
With running back Frank Gore back in the lineup, the Niners cruise to a victory. However, the Texans find a way to score with Steve Slaton.
Final score: 49ers 35, Texans 31

Indianapolis Colts at St. Louis Rams
An easy win for the Colts, who are looking forward to the return of star safety Bob Sanders.
Final score: Colts 48, Rams 15

San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
The Chargers top the Chiefs with no problem whatsoever. However, K.C. is looking better defensively.
Final score: Chargers 24, Chiefs 6

Minnesota Vikings at Pittsburgh Steelers
This game earns my matchup of the week, as the Steelers hand the Vikings their first loss of the year. I believe Pittsburgh pulls out the win for one reason in particular: Their offense will be able to score more than people think. After all, Ben Roethlisberger is leading the NFL in passing yards.
Final score: Steelers 31, Vikings 28 (OT)

New England Patriots at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (in London)
The Pats don’t have a single problem dealing with a Tampa team that has failed to win a game all season.
Final score: Patriots 24, Buccaneers 13

Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers
The Bills get a lucky win over a Panthers team with no passing game this year.
Final score: Bills 17, Panthers 10

New York Jets at Oakland Raiders
The Jets are just able to sneak past the Raiders. Meanwhile struggling Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell has a terrible performance and is pulled by head coach Tom Cable.
Final score: Jets 27, Raiders 7

Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys
The Falcons have some trouble passing against the Cowboys secondary, but with DeMarcus Ware hobbled by a foot injury, Michael Turner runs for more than 100 yards.
Final score: Falcons 27, Cowboys 17

Chicago Bears at Cincinnnati Bengals
Jay Cutler and the Bears pull out a close win against an improved Bengals defense.
Final score: Bears 27, Bengals 24

New Orleans Saints at Miami Dolphins
Drew Brees has some difficulty early on, but he quickly gets past that and helps the Saints secure an easy win.
Final score: Saints 30, Dolphins 20

Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants
The Cards play great offensively and win it in overtime. Eli Manning at the Giants come up just short.
Final score: Cardinals 23, Giants 20 (OT)

Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins
Donovan McNabb has no problem picking apart the Redskins secondary. Meanwhile, Washington head coach Jim Zorn comes under even more pressure.
Final score: Eagles 31, Redskins 19

Offensive Player of the Week: Peyton Manning, Colts
Defensive Player of the Week: Dwight Freeney, Colts
