NBA Hardwood Classics Month will run through February and highlight nine teams – the Bobcats, Nuggets, Pacers, Clippers, Grizzlies, Heat, Timberwolves, Nets and Spurs – wearing classic uniforms and hosting special in-arena events.

The ABA flourished from 1967 to 1976, featuring flashy players with even flashier styles. The unis you’ll see your favorite players wearing will be in tribute to the ABA teams that originally played in their city or region. Here are the franchises being honored: Carolina Cougars (Bobcats), Los Angeles Stars (Clippers), Memphis Tams (Grizzlies), Miami Floridians (Heat), Minnesota Muskies (Timberwolves), New York Nets (Nets) and Texas Chaparrals (Spurs).

NBA Hardwood Classics Month will run through the month of February and will feature 38 games with 6 televised nationally on ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV. All jerseys will be available on NBAStore.com on Feb 2.

Now, on to the pictures. I LOVE the uniforms. (Chris Bosh’s fake fu manchu? Not so much.) What do you guys think? Hit me up in the comments.
