WHAT!?! High Schooler Kicks A Last Second 67-Yard FG To Tie Game

Last night Austin Rehkow kicked a dramatic 67-yard field goal that easily broke the NFL record of 63 yards. However Rehkow wasn't on an NFL field, he's a high school senior.

With only a few seconds left in the game, his team down three and the ball spotted on the 50-yard-line, Rehkow nailed a kick from his own 43 that just cleared the goal posts. Pandemonium ensued as his team Central Valley of Spokane, Wash forced their game against Shadle Park into OT tied at 55. Central Valley went on to win the game 62-55.

According to ESPN's Mason Kelley, Rehkow currently only has a partial scholarship offer from Eastern Washington, but we're thinking that he may be getting some better offers now.

But that wasn't the only recordbreaker last night in the game. Shadle Park's quarterback, Brett Rypien, nephew of Mark Rypien who led the 1991 Washington Redskins to a Super Bowl title, threw for 577 yards in the losing effort, which broke the Washington state high school record.
