Adidas Debuts Crazy Ghost Basketball Shoe

You're on the court, you put a move on the defender, and you're gone before he even knows you were there. You could've been a ghost you moved so fast. Of course, it takes lots of practice and training to be that good. But it helps to have the right shoe, too.

Today, adidas debuted the Crazy Ghost, a new basketball shoe that features the company's newest performance innovation, the Crazyquick outsole traction system. When you wear the shoe, the Crazyquick system give you maximum control and flexibility to make quick cuts on the court. The shoe is also lighter and more breathable thanks to adidas' redesigned SPRINTWEB, and the bright colors and design elements make it look snappy.

Three NBA players will wear the Crazy Ghost this season — Harrison Barnes of the Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday (that's the the Holiday Pelicans version of the shoe at the top of the page), and the Denver Nuggets' Kenneth Faried. Scroll down to see more images of the shoe (including a cool blue/orange Faried Nuggets colorway), and a shot of Holiday wearing it on the court.
