12-Yr.-Old Girl Tosses Perfect Game

Not since Tatum O’Neal pitched the Bad News Bears to prominence (ask your parents) has Little League baseball seen a female pitcher this good.

How good is 12-year-old Mackenzie Brown?

So good that, on Tuesday, the New Jersey native (bonus points!) became the first girl in Bayonne Little League history to throw a perfect game.

6 innings. No hits allowed. No walks. 12 strikeouts.

Oh, and Mackenzie plays in a boy’s league. How ‘bout that?

The Mets were certainly impressed. They’ve tabbed Brown to throw out the first pitch when they play the Washington Nationals at Citi Field on Saturday.

Feel free to email me all jokes regarding Mackenzie’s ability to strike out members of the Washington Nationals. Lol.
