Thursday, June 9, is the first day of the 2016 MLB Draft, and the next generation of baseball stars will begin their journeys to the major leagues. But while the main event is the first round of the draft, the later rounds can be exiting, too.
The second and third days of the MLB Draft may not have the same fanfare, but that does not mean the players selected in the later rounds are doomed to a career in the minor leagues. In fact, some of the game's greatest players were not drafted until after the 10th round.
