Denver wins the Super Bowl 50 rematch

The Broncos and Panthers faced off last night for the first regular season game of the season, with Denver winning by a point, 21–20. Just like in the Super Bowl, the Broncos' defense kept Cam Newton contained, allowing 194 yards passing. The biggest hero of last night, however, was Denver's rookie fullback Andy Janovich, who scored a 28-yard touchdown on his first carry:

The World Cup of Hockey is here

The first warm-up games for the World Cup of Hockey were yesterday too. Naturally, we're rooting for the kids of Team North America, who thrashed Europe 4–0 last night. Here are some other teams to look out for:
