David Ortiz got to meet his LEGO likeness today when the 6' 7" statue was unveiled for LEGO Day at Fenway Park.

An original exhibition, <italics>Big Leagues, Little Bricks</italics>, featuring amazing sculptures, portraits and stadium replicas created with LEGO bricks is now open at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory and runs through Sept. 2. The exhibition showcases renowned artist Sean Kenney, one of only 13 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world. Here are a few of Kenney's pieces, along with other instances of LEGO in Sports.

The dinger also validated the tough-love teachings of Adrian Beltre, who jokingly slapped Odor earlier in the game for his bad baserunning.
