LA Galaxy midfielder Nigel de Jong has signed a two-year contract with the Galatasaray.
The deal is reportedly worth $6 million.
De Jong could serve as a designated player and temporary replacement for Steven Gerrard, who may retire at the end of the year.
His time in Los Angeles comes to an end after arriving in February and making just 18 appearances. He previously spent four seasons with AC Milan.
He will be reunited with former coach Jan OldeRiekerink and Dutch compatriot Wesley Sneijder.
