The New York Jets and Giants would like to host another Super Bowl after hosting Super Bowl XLVIII in February 2014, according to Newsday.
“We are as serious as you can get,” Jets owner Woody Johnson said.
“I think we did a good job. We put on a great stage,” Johnson added. “It wasn’t a great game, but it was a great stage and the weather was extremely good. We lucked out.”
The Seattle Seahawks dismantled Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos 43–8 in the championship game, when Russell Wilson was named Super Bowl MVP.
Reliant/NRG Stadium in Houston will host next year’s Super Bowl. U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is slated to host in 2018, which will be the first time Minnesota has played host since Super Bowl XXVI in 1992 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans and Raymond James Stadium in Tampa have been tabbed as finalists for Super Bowl LIII, which will be voted on in May.
