Denver Broncos defensive end Von Miller said he will not play in 2016 if he remains under the franchise tag.
Miller made the comments in a post on his Instagram.
The Broncos tagged Miller in March. If Miller does not sign another contract, he will be owed $14.129 million this season.
However, the Super Bowl 50 MVP has been looking for a long-term deal this off-season. The Broncos reportedly offered Miller a deal with $39.8 million guaranteed over the its two years, but Miller wants more guaranteed cash in the contract.
