Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert plans to give 2016 NBA championship rings to full and part-time employees in the Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization, according to

The employees that have been fitted for rings include ticket takers, seat ushers, security guards, Cleveland police officers and others that work in the stands.

It is expected to cost about $1 million to give rings out to all the employees.

The Cavaliers ended the city's 52-year championship title drought by coming back from a 3–1 deficit to defeat the Golden State Warriors in seven games.

Last month, Richard Jefferson revealed photos of the championship rings, which feature the Cavaliers’ “C” wrapped around the Larry O’Brien trophy on one side and the Cleveland skyline on the opposite side.

The Cavaliers will open the season on Oct. 25 against the New York Knicks at Quicken Loans Arena.
