Conor McGrgeor and Nate Diaz will fight at UFC 202 on Aug. 20, it was announced during Saturday’s UFC 199 event.
McGregor and Diaz were originally set to square off in a rematch at UFC 200 before the Irishman was pulled from the card due to his refusal to promote the fight. McGregor then announced he was retiring, before walking that back, and has since cleared the air with company president Dana White.
McGregor dropped his first meeting with Diaz at UFC 196 by second-round submission. He is the current UFC featherweight champion.
