Brock Lesnar will return to the octagon and fight at UFC 200, it was announced during Saturday night’s UFC 199 event.
Lesnar, who recently re-signed with the WWE, hasn’t competed in an MMA match since losing to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 in December 2011. He left the UFC due to diverticulitis and returned to the WWE.
The UFC announced Lesnar’s return in a promo video, and later flashed him on the screen on the fight card.
His opponent is to be determined.
Earlier in the night, it was announced that Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz will fight in a rematch at UFC 202 on Aug. 20.
