A number of Atlanta Braves players are so upset about the field conditions at Turner Field, they have considered filing a complaint to the player’s union, reports Doug Padilla of ESPN.
According to the report, the players are concerned about where the infield meets the outfield turf, which is uneven and and causing the ball to bounce in an unpredictable fashion.
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, whose team finished a series with the Braves on Thursday, commented on the condition of the infield at Turner.
"This is a tough infield," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said to ESPN. "You look at Dodger Stadium versus this field, and this field, the guys talk about it around the league that it is not the best infield as far as playing."
The Braves have committed 11 errors so far this season, tied for sixth-worst in the MLB.
