Space Jam 2—with LeBron James—is happening.

The Hollywood Reporterrevealed that Justin Lin, director of four movies in the Fast & Furious franchise, will direct James in the sequel to Space Jam, the follow-up of the 1996 hit starring Michael Jordan.

In the original film, Jordan—playing himself—teamed up with the Looney Tunes to defeat the villainous Monstars. The movie also featured some of Jordan’s NBA contemporaries, including Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing and Mugsy Bogues.

James has long been rumored to star in a sequel. Last July, James’s entertainment company signed a deal with Warner Bros., leading to more speculationSpace Jam 2 was in the works. James has been working his way into movies, playing a supporting role in the romantic comedy Trainwreck last summer.
