The Cages: Pro Style Batting Practice is a great, unique game. Instead of a regular baseball game, where there are just straight exhibitions, this game focuses on the fundamentals of hitting.  It's also compatible with Wii Motion Plus, which means no more delayed swings...

Get ready for an adventure, matey! Pirates Plunder is a great game in which you are a pirate (with up to 3 friends) pursuing the traitor known as Rudebelly. You go through 45 different levels in which Rudebelly throws his skeleton and zombie troops as well as slug bosses your way. Along the ride, you can use the experience points you earn in each level to upgrade your pirate's weapons and attributes to take on Rudebelly. Once you make him walk the plank, you can take back the treasure that is rightfully yours!

On June 12, SI Kids and Pokemon gave me the opportunity to participate in the 2010 Northeast Regional Pokemon tournament, which was held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in North Bergen, NJ. This year's regionals were great! More than 500 young Pokemon fanatics took part in the tournament's Junior Division, and there were also hundreds of older participants playing later that day.

Play began at 8:30am, with contestants in the Junior division varying in age from seven to 12. Spectators at the event could watch battles on televisions scattered around the area of play, and, before it was your turn to play (or after you were eliminated), you could partake in other events. For example, in one area you could download a level 50 Shiny Eevee. They were just giving it away!.

In the area I was hanging out at, everyone was talking about what Shiny Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon would look like. Other popular topics of conversation were the upcoming Pokemon: Black and White; specifically, the fifth generation Pokemon that were released in the latest edition of Pokemon CoroCoro (they'll eventually be playable characters in Black and White)...

This game was awesome! I simply couldn’t get enough. You can play any of five sports. In tennis you can play singles or doubles. Beach Tennis is extremely similar, although obviously it is on the beach. Squash is almost like wall-ball, only with racquets. There is also badminton and table tennis...

Move over, Superman! Bye, bye, Batman! Spidey and his friends from Marvel have a new video game out. This game resembles Marvel Ultimate Alliance a bit. It is based on the cartoon series on Cartoon Network. There are two basic modes of play: Adventure and Battle. Adventure is where you take on different missions guided by Ms. Marvel with two superheroes of your choice. I suggest Thor and Iron Man. Your ultimate objective is to defeat the Lethal Legion. They are Dr. More »
