Chris Weinke, Florida State (1997-2000)
His college football career started late after playing six seasons of minor league baseball. But Weinke led the Seminoles to three consecutive national championship game appearances and had a 32-3 record as a starter. He left FSU as one of only two quarterbacks in NCAA history to pass for more than 9,500 yards and win a national championship. And in 2000, he became the oldest player to ever win the Heisman (age 28).
