It took Travis almost a year to find a rugby team after he moved to the U.S. from South Africa in 2007, but since joining the Plano Predators U-15 as a fly-half, he's reached new heights. This season Travis has scored eight tries and 17 conversions for the Predators and was selected to play for the North Texas High Performance Rugby team. Travis's goal is to make the U.S. team for the 2016 Olympics, the first time the sport will be included in the Games since 1924. "I like rugby because of the pace, and players get to play 80 full minutes," he says.
Shayden knows how to take down the competition. This year she has won six championships, including the USGWA Girls Missouri and Kansas state titles in the elementary school division. In 2010 she was a runner-up at the USA Wrestling girls national championships.
Marcus, a running back and linebacker, led his teams to the 2010 Suffolk County Police Athletic League Division 1 championship and the 2010–11 Long Island Youth Indoor Football title. He scored two touchdowns and had more than 10 tackles in each championship game.
Auburney has not lost a 100-meter dash in two years. Ranked Number 3 in the nation in the youth division, she has also helped her 4 × 100 and 4 × 200 relay teams win every race over the last two seasons. In basketball, she led her team in scoring and assists last season.
