Mookie’s Big Hits

Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts has seemed unstoppable lately and that trend continued Wednesday night. The night after Betts hit three home runs, he became the first MLB player to ever belt a homer in each of the first two innings of consecutive games in Boston’s 13-9 loss to the Baltimore Orioles. The 23-year old hit five home runs in seven at-bats, tying a major league record (The last player to do that was Josh Hamilton for the Texas Rangers in 2012).
