Yankee Stadium wasn’t the only Bomberland-mainstay to receive an upgrade this off-season.

Derek Jeter’s signature sneaker celebrated its eighth birthday with a complete overhaul, maintaining its trademark performance features – such as its lightweight size (to ensure maximum speed), its herringbone traction (to ensure maximum grip on multiple surfaces), and its heel rake ankle guard (to ensure maximum protection) – while also rolling out a much more aggressive visual look for the $20.09 (aka 2009… keep up!).

The result? Arguably Jeter’s coolest pair of kicks to date!

Don’t believe me? Check out that enlarged Air Bubble (a DNJ favorite), the hints of Air Griffey Max in the shape of the heel and front rubber, and, for you Yankees fans, THE PINSTRIPES!

Is this sneaker sick or what?
