Well, it looks like sleeves in the NBA are here for good.
Earlier today, adidas revealed its jerseys for the 2014 NBA All-Star Game. And they look more like shirts than traditional basketball unis. A bunch of teams donned sleeves for their Christmas games this season, which that got a lot of attention. But the All-Star Game will be the highest profile appearance of NBA jersey sleeves to date. Clearly the league wants this style to stick around.
Let's look past the sleeves, though. Because the game will be played in New Orleans, the jerseys have a Mardi Gras-like style. They're colorful — the East is in navy blue and green, the West is in red and purple — and have the fleur-de-lis (basically the logo of the Saints) as the primary element of the logo.
