The NBA opened its season last night and as we've come to expect from the league, there was some inspired fashion happening out there. We decided to rank the best we saw.
#6. Norris Cole's Hightop Fade: No other player in the league stepped up their hair game last night quite like the Miami Heat's backup point guard. Really, the shape, the structure, the artful fade all make this an architectural marvel.
#5. LA Galaxy's Robbie Keane and David Beckham at the Lakers game: The players aren't the only ones to get in on the fun. The Galaxy's international soccer stars looked dapper as they took in the Dallas Mavericks upset victory over the NBA's newest superteam.
#4. LeBron's Shoes: The King stepped up his shoe game Tuesday night. Not only did he sports some great golden footwear during game, after the Heat won, he showed off his specially made dress shoes that had the trophy embroidered on one foot and his jersey number on the other.
#3 Dwight Howard's Suit: We think this picture sums up everything you need to know about the new-look Lakers and the difference between Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard. While Kobe is already in his gear and getting treatment in the training room, Dwight is chuckling in his dapper suit. And a fine suit it is.
#2. Steve Nash's Entire Outfit: We weren't sure if Steve was on his way to choir practice or an NBA game. He rocked the pink sweater last night WITH the bowtie. Throw in his tiny man bag and you know Nash was all-in, fashion wise.
#1. The Entire Miami Heat Team: For all of the fashion statements happening in the NBA now, there's one that trumps them all. They say fashion makes the man, and accessories make the man great. Well, there's no better accessory than a nice, big white and yellow gold championship ring that's studded with 219 diamonds. You can't buy this ring, the NBA Champs had to earn this one.
