"I was running a route called a Cover 2 Bender. It has the option to either bend inward if the defense is in a Cover 2, or stay up the seam if they are in a Cover 3. I read Cover 2, so I bent my route. The ball sailed a little due to the pressure the defensive line was putting on my quarterback, but athletes adjust. Sometimes you make a one-handed catch because you feel two hands will not give you the length needed to make the catch. And sometimes it's natural instinct. This catch was an instinctive type of catch. I am thinking more about making the play versus getting hit, and that's how every wide receiver should think. You have to make the play first."
