Patriots quarterback Tom Brady became the 11th quarterback in NFL history to pass for over 500 yards in a single game with his 517-yard effort against the Dolphins on Sept. 12 . The league's all-time record belongs to Hall of Fame quarterback Norm Van Brocklin, who threw for a mind-boggling 554 yards against the New York Yanks in 1951.
