Skateboarder Chris Cole Keeps It Fun While Winning Championships
Chris Cole has been one of the best professional boarders since he joined the “big leagues” in 2002, and he hasn’t slowed down since. Cole won back-to-back X Games gold medals in 2006 and 2007 and has been named Skate of the Year" twice in his career. Last year, he was the overall Street League Super Crown World Champion.
Cole has been skating since he was 14, and he's reached the top of the sport through hard work, determination, and a fun-loving attitude. He stopped by Sports Illustrated Kids recently to talk with Kid Reporter Amiri Tulloch about his career, his future plans, and how kids can get started in skateboarding.
