AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Phil Mickelson soaked up a scene he knows all too well as he climbed the steep hill toward the 18th green at Augusta National to claim another green jacket.
Only when he rapped in one last birdie for a three-shot victory did this Masters get even better.
Standing behind the green — as always — was his wife, Amy, with her long blonde hair and easy smile, their three children at her side.

Guadalajara, Mexico (AP) -- Michelle Wie won the first LPGA event of her career on Sunday, fulfilling the promise of a decade with a three-under-par 69 to win the Lorena Ochoa Invitational by two strokes over Paula Creamer in Guadalajara, Mexico.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Tiger Woods provided a fitting conclusion Sunday to a perfect week at the Presidents Cup, for him and an American team that remains perfect at home.
With a flop shot out of the trees to set up one last birdie, Woods won the point that clinched the cup and made him only the third player in the Presidents Cup to win all five matches.

PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Ninth-grader Alexis Thompson is trying to avoid getting to far ahead of herself in the Navistar LPGA Classic.
"I'm an amateur, and I'm just going to look at it and just be like, 'Whatever,''' said Thompson, tied for the second-round lead. "Because I just try to come into these and just play well. It's just good competition for me. Best in the world.''

LEMONT, Ill. (AP) -- Tiger Woods left the drama to everyone else at Cog Hill.
One day after his course-record 62 gave him a seven-shot lead, Woods made sure no one else had a chance Sunday in the BMW Championship. He closed with a 3-under 68 for an eight-shot victory over Jim Furyk and Marc Leishman.
It was his sixth victory of the year, and assured Woods the No. 1 ranking going into the final tournament of the FedEx Cup and its $10 million prize. Woods won for the fifth time at Cog Hill, and it was his 10th career victory by at least eight shots.
