SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Matt Cain and his wife, Chelsea, returned to the field an hour and a half later for a few more perfect memories. They snapped photos on the mound, posing with the workers who tore it down so the dirt could be sent to the Hall of Fame.
Then they walked away hand in hand, stopping in left field for an embrace and long kiss.

NEW YORK (AP) -- For more than 50 years, the New York Mets chased that elusive no-hitter. Johan Santana finally finished the job.
Santana pitched the first no-hitter in team history, helped by an umpire's missed call and an outstanding catch in left field in an 8-0 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday night.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- Jered Weaver pitched the second no-hitter in the majors in less than two weeks, completely overmatching Minnesota and leading the Los Angeles Angels to a 9-0 win over the Twins on Wednesday night.
Weaver struck out nine and walked one. The Twins never came close to getting a hit against the All-Star right-hander.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Brian Wilson has no regrets about how many times he pitched during the San Francisco Giants' improbable 2010 World Series title run. Nor about how he handled his rehabilitation program this winter, and certainly not how he stayed on the mound at Colorado last week despite ligament damage in his arm.
"Absolutely not," Wilson said. "That's how I play baseball. Push it to the limits."
