Angels Ace Weaver No-Hits Twins 10

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- Jered Weaver pitched the second no-hitter in the majors in less than two weeks, completely overmatching Minnesota and leading the Los Angeles Angels to a 9-0 win over the Twins on Wednesday night.

Weaver struck out nine and walked one. The Twins never came close to getting a hit against the All-Star right-hander.

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has torn his Achillies, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Pro Bowler is expected to undergo surgery next week and is likely out for the season. He injured himself playing basketball.

CHICAGO (AP) -- Bulls star Derrick Rose will miss the rest of the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

Rose was helped off the court late in Chicago's 103-91 playoff-opening victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, a staggering blow for a team eyeing a championship run.
