DENVER (AP) -- Not this time, Tim Tebow .
Not with Tom Brady on hand.
Brady threw for two touchdowns, ran for another and the New England Patriots shut down Tebow's late-game heroics and clinched a playoff berth with a 41-23 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
"It was a really good day for us," Brady said. "Very emotional game. It was really rocking early. We showed some mental toughness."
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Mike McCarthy never put a whole lot of stock in a perfect season, except as a means of gaining home-field advantage and setting the Green Bay Packers up for another Super Bowl run.
Well, they still have a chance to earn home-field advantage.
The perfect season? That's history.
Kyle Orton threw for 299 yards to outduel Aaron Rodgers , and the Kansas City Chiefs rallied behind interim coach Romeo Crennel for a shocking 19-14 victory on Sunday that ended the Packers' 19-game winning streak. It was their first loss since Dec. 19, 2010, at New England.
ATLANTA (AP) -- Ho hum, another winning season for the Atlanta Falcons .
That's not such a big deal anymore.
This team has much higher goals.
Putting together their most complete effort of the season, the Falcons clinched a fourth straight winning record with a 41-14 rout of the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night. Matt Ryan had another big game, throwing three touchdown passes in less than three quarters of work, and John Abraham terrorized rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert with 3 1/2 sacks.
Atlanta (9-5) strengthened its hold on an NFC wild card, shrugging off the immediate accomplishment of another above-.500 finish.

The NBA-owned New Orleans Hornets have reached an agreement to send point guard Chris Paul to the Clippers.
While the Clippers will receive the four-time All-Star point guard to pair with franchise centerpiece Blake Griffin, the Hornets will receive an All-Star caliber guard Eric Gordon, veteran center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Faruoq Aminu and the 2012 first round pick from Minnesota that was atop their wish list of assets in these talks all along. The Clippers will also receive two future second-round picks in the deal.
SEATTLE (AP) -- The Skittles came flying out of the stands, close enough that Marshawn Lynch was regretting not catching his favorite candy in midair and taking it back to the sideline.
Too bad. He could have shared his reward with Doug Baldwin .
"I could have caught them, that's how close they got to me," Lynch said.
Baldwin, an undrafted rookie out of Stanford, showed the rest of the NFL what it missed Monday night. He blocked a first-quarter punt that was returned by Michael Robinson 17 yards for a touchdown, then caught a 29-yard TD pass from Tarvaris Jackson in the third period as the Seattle Seahawks pulled away for a 30-13 win over the staggering St. Louis Rams.
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Never count out Eli Manning and the New York Giants - not in a game, or in the division race.
Down by 12 late in the fourth quarter of a game they had to win for a realistic chance to make the playoffs, the Giants put together two touchdown drives in the final 3:41 and Jean Pierre-Paul preserved it with a blocked field goal for a 37-34 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.
Just like that, the Giants' four-game losing streak was done. And the NFC East race is cracked open, with New York reclaiming the inside track.
"We needed to have a locker room celebration," Giants coach Tom Coughlin said. "We were starving for this."More »
DENVER (AP) -- Wild wins are becoming routine for Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos , who flail away through most of four quarters before coming through in the clutch.
Matt Prater 's 51-yard field goal 6 1/2 minutes into overtime gave the Broncos a 13-10 victory over the stunned Chicago Bears on Sunday. Prater's 59-yarder with 3 seconds left in regulation tied the score after Tebow led another rally.
"If you believe," Tebow said, "then unbelievable things can sometimes be possible."More »
