ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Their Texas-sized wait is over. The Rangers are going to the World Series.

And they got there with a win over their old nemesis, the defending champion New York Yankees.

Halladay, Phils Gut Out a Win, Force Game 6

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Roy Halladay pulled his groin in the second inning and most of his teammates had no idea.

The pitcher just stuck it out like the ace he is for the Philadelphia Phillies , who are headed home still with a shot at a third straight National League pennant thanks to Halladay's latest gutsy effort.

"The guy's just a tough guy," Placido Polanco said. "He didn't show it."

With the home run king watching and cheering from a front-row seat, Ross delivered again, Matt Cain outdueled Cole Hamels and the San Francisco Giants beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-0 Tuesday for a 2-1 lead in the NL championship series.

Titans Blast Jaguars, But Lose Young 2

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Tennessee's Vince Young watched from the sideline. Jacksonville's David Garrard was in the locker room.
