Tebow Goes Down in Florida Win 9

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -With one scary hit on Tim Tebow , the fate of No. 1 Florida - and really, the entire complexion of the college football season - could have changed.

The Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback was knocked out of Florida's 41-7 victory against Kentucky after a hard shot to the head in the third quarter, and taken by ambulance to a hospital.

Virginia Tech Blasts Rival Miami

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Jacory Harris planned to play it cool against Virginia Tech.

The 11th-ranked Hokies blew up that plan in about five minutes, harassing the Hurricanes' quarterback into early mistakes and dominating No. 9 Miami 31-7 in a downpour on Saturday.

Afterward, the player getting all the hype took all the heat.

''I take all the blame for what happened tonight,'' Harris said.

Tomlinson to Miss a Second Straight Game 11

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- LaDainian Tomlinson has been ruled out of the San Diego Chargers' home game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, the second straight game he'll miss due to a sprained right ankle.

Tomlinson was hurt in a season-opening win at Oakland and missed last Sunday's home-opening loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
