CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- The New Orleans Hornets have finally found a taker for Tyson Chandler.
Emeka Okafor was dealt to the Hornets on Tuesday for Chandler in a deal involving 26-year-old centers, a trade that brought different financial relief to both teams and hopes they'll thrive under different big men.

The Cardinals have agreed to a deal with the A's that would send Matt Holliday from Oakland to St. Louis, SI.com has confirmed.
In the deal, which still has to be approved, the A's will receive three minor league players: top Cardinals hitting prospect Brett Wallace, along with outfielder Shane Peterson and right-handed pitcher Clayton Mortensen.

TOKYO (AP) -- Look out Ichiro Suzuki and Daisuke Matsuzaka. A pair of baseball-playing robots that can pitch and hit with incredible results have been developed in Japan.
The pitching robot, with its three-fingered hand, can throw 90 percent of its pitches in the strike zone, won't need any relief from the bullpen and never asks for a pay raise.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded first baseman Adam LaRoche to the Boston Red Sox, SI.com has confirmed.
The Pirates acquired a pair of prospects -- Double-A shortstop Argenis Diaz and Class A right-handed pitcher Hunter Strickland -- in the deal.

PHOENIX (AP) -- Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns have agreed on a two-year, $22 million contract extension, his agent said.
Bill Duffy confirmed the agreement Monday in an interview with The Associated Press.
The deal will keep the two-time MVP point guard under contract with the Suns through the 2011-2012 season.
