No. 10 Oregon Blasts No. 5 USC Again

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- As the T-shirts worn in Oregon's student section proclaimed, it was Fright Night at Autzen Stadium.

It certainly was for USC.

Jeremiah Masoli threw for 222 yards and a touchdown and ran for 164 more yards with another score and the 10th-ranked Ducks trampled No. 4 Southern California 47-20 Saturday night, the Trojans' worst loss since 1997.

Tebow Sets SEC TD Record as Florida Pounds Georgia

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida receiver David Nelson stared across the field, saw all the Georgia players jumping up and down, hooting and hollering after a touchdown and thought, ''Here we go again.''

''Seeing them do that kind of brought back the memory, just hit us hard,'' Nelson said.

The top-ranked Gators responded pretty much the same way they did last season - by pounding the Bulldogs.

BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) -- North Carolina's defense is as good as advertised. T.J. Yates, Shaun Draughn and the offense are improving, too.

Casey Barth kicked a 21-yard field goal on the final play and the Tar Heels ' defense, ranked seventh in the nation, stopped No. 14 Virginia Tech all night long in a 20-17 victory on Thursday night.
