Tomlinson Thinks He's Done with Chargers 50

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- LaDainian Tomlinson says he believes he has played his last game with the San Diego Chargers.
The running back told The San Diego Union-Tribune on Thursday that he has thought for a while he would be let go by the Chargers.
His comments come after more than a month of saying he did not know what would happen.
The NFL's most valuable player in 2006 has two years remaining on his contract. He is due a $2 million roster bonus March 5 and would be paid $5 million in total salary in 2010.
Tomlinson tells the newspaper he doesn't know when the Chargers will release him and that his agent, Tom Condon, might call the club to expedite the process.
Condon didn't immediately respond to a phone message from the AP.
"All discussions about the future will take place later this month. No decisions have been made," Chargers spokesman Bill Johnston wrote in an email to The Associated Press.
Tomlinson has become one of the most beloved athletes in San Diego history during a nine-year career but his production and speed have been decreasing.
Tomlinson had 730 yards on 223 carries for an average of 3.3 yards per carry this past season, all career lows. The lower numbers were due in part to the Chargers relying more on their high-octane passing game, as well as Tomlinson missing the second and third games with a sprained ankle.

I disagree. I think he still has a few more seasons left. Maybe not all with the Chargers.

LT is not going to the Texans, Raiders, Seahawks, Redskins or Giants. The Texans, Seahawks and Giants can't afford this guy. The Giants have Brandon Jacobs too. So, why on Earth would the Giants spend about 20 million dollars for a half back they already have? Your best bet for LT is probably the Packers. They can afford him, and honestly all it is to it is they're the team who wants him the most. If the Packer were to get Tomlinson, the Packers division desperately needs another guy to boost there own team.

awesome shortstop, I wasn't bragging about the raiders. im a patriots fan. my dad is a raiders fan so I root for them every once in a while. but in my comment, i didn't say anything to brag about. I just said you never know. for example, the dolphins. they go 1 and 15. the next year, they make the playoffs. I wasn't bragging. I was just saying how the raiders have a better chance of at least finishing with a winning record. thanks though. :) :) :)
Lots of teams will be looking for a good running back and will be willing to pay a big sum of money to get one.
L.T. is Awesome! The Chargers are his best bet. It's funny, a lot of people compare L.T. to Joseph Addai. That is the stupidest thing i have ever heard! Addai cant lift a finger to anybody unless it is Maroney. L.T. ROCKS!

LT stinks for doing this. Since he wants to leave thou he should go to the Dolphins
l.t should not retire, he is not as young as he once was but im sure in time he will advance. his home may or may not be with the chargers, whether that be true or not he should not retire. he has too many fans and im one of them GO L.T
They let him go or just retire because he's not averaging what he originally does

LT was one of the most outstanding players out there but he just lost his style and I think the Chargers think that too. And I think that once the Chargers trade LT, he is going to be the player he was and the Chargers will look at him and say only 1 word "WHY"
