One of the most disappointing classes in Bobby Bowden's tenure at Florida State, the '01 group was hampered by inconsistency and ultimately derailed by highly-touted QB Adrian McPherson's (pictured) legal troubles. It posted a 2-3 record in bowl games, winning the Gator Bowl twice, but never finished better than No. 11 in the final AP ranking.
